PT6A Training Classes

Spokane Turbine Center can only provide training to member organizations of the International Association of Missionary Aviation (IAMA), Quest Mission Team (QMT) or Aviation Insurance and Risk Management Alliance Program (AIRMAP).

PT6A-Small Engine Series Comprehensive Overview
Training Type: Instructor-led interactive lecture, hands-on lab projects, live engine runs.
Target Audience: Pilot/Mechanics of any turbine experience level seeking a thorough, systematic analysis of the fundamental concepts, working components and practical operational aspects of the PT6A engine.

PT6A Small Engine Maintenance & HSI
Training Type:Instructor led hands-on; extended engine runs, adjustments and tests
Target Audience:Mechanics with PT6A Small Engine inspection/servicing experience (or have completed a PT6A Familiarization course) who are getting involved in more advanced engine maintenance.

  • 37.5 Hours of PT6 Lab including: Hot Section Inspection, CT Rinse and Wash, Fuel Nozzle Flowing, 100 Hour inspection
